Bonn (Germany), September 2025 – This year, the Bonn,Germany, based blow molding pioneer Kautex Maschinenbau celebrates its 90th anniversary. Nine decades of pioneering spirit, innovation, and plastics know-how. Since building Europe’s first blow molding machine in 1949, Kautex has shaped the industry like few others. Today, the company combines this legacy with a bold vision for the future: “Future needs Origins.”
At K 2025, the spotlight is on the Kautex Technikum in Bonn – the company’s very own “Idea Factory,” where concepts turn into market-ready products. Here, Kautex bundles its expertise in three domains: Plastics Know-How, Automation Know-How, and Technology Know-How. With four dedicated lab machines, the Technical Center offers customers a unique platform for simulation, prototyping, sampling, small-series productions and material testing.
